We are the Elevation Arts Collective. A group of artists producing work across a range of practices including: Musicians, producers, DJ’s, visual artists, photographers, actors, theatre makers, filmmakers and poets. The purpose of the collective is to showcase a wide variety of underground, alternative and predominantly unsigned work, and to create a place where artists of different aesthetics can collaborate and communicate. The Elevation Arts Collective aims to provide a hub for experimental and under the radar work in the city of Newcastle.

Keep up to date with a regularly updated stream of new work from EAC artists as well as new additions to the collective and up and coming events by checking the blog on the website and Facebook page here. For those who attended the EAC showcase at the Star and Shadow Cinema or the EAC and Rubix night at cosmic Ballroom will know what we are all about. For those who didn't check out all the artists pages on the site for some incredible work from EAC artists from Newcastle as well as Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and further afield.

We will be bringing you more independent and collaborative nights in the coming months including anything from club nights to art exhibitions, poetry readings, film screenings and music and theatre performances.

For new, cutting edge and independent interdisciplinary art in Newcastle and further afield keep you eyes peeled, ears to the ground and watch this space!
